Wedding Dress Sunday: Vera Wang

This morning I caught up on Bravo’s Bethenny’s Getting Married, and it got me thinking about wedding dresses. I know this site is not about me finding a husband, (more like finding a man to say yes to for date two) but I still have desires for a wedding day. (When I was younger I thought I would have a couple of husbands so I could have a couple of wedding days. I hate limiting myself to one dress.)
I have two goals for my wedding.
1. Get into the New York Times wedding announcement section
2. Wear the most fabulous dress of all time.
One is too hard because that requires another person to be in the head shot, but two I can get an idea now. Plus, I love shopping. I started with Vera Wang because she is well know for her wedding dresses, and why not.
I saw this and immediately thought this could work for a beach wedding.
I saw this one and knew I could never wear white at my own wedding.
Classic and beautiful, and a lot of work on my shoulders.
Then I fell in love. This is my number one choice from Vera Wang. This is the I am getting married in a the evening at a posh, classic, and hip location to fabulous posh and hip man. I want I want.

Since the recession has decided to stick around a little longer, I must continue to cut spending in my own budget. First to be heavily reduced; clothing. Ugh! – but it has been done. I wanted to wear a new outfit for my date on Saturday night and Maxi-dresses are in for the summer/spring and I was craving one. I first looked on shopstyle.com to see what was out there then hit my local clothing stores and caught some sales to get my version. A total savings of (drum roll please ) $271.01.
