(I don't wish it as much as I am comfortable with karma getting revenge.) It just doesn't seem fair I get to feel awful and he gets to drive away. I also feel with him out of the way, the path is clear for someone better to finally come through. Either way, he's a spineless asshole, and I am smiling again. If it was your looks, he wouldn't have asked you out twice. If it was your personality, he wouldn't have asked you out the 2nd time. Also, since he's always on call, he could have just said he had to work if he was fed up with you for some reason. I'm guessing: -he's in a relationship and thought he saw one of his wife/gf's friends, -checked acct balance & realized he couldn't pay, or -diarrhea incident in the bathroom. Something freaked him out bad enough that he couldn't face you. The only reason to stay on a bad date is to get a good story out of it, and you definitely got that! In my online profile, I explicitly stated: "if I discover you have lied about your appearance or anything else, we will not get past hello." I think that's why I never got any nasty surprises; the liars knew humiliation & rejection was guaranteed. Ohhh Wow.
